Spirit Find New Coach
Oct. 29, 2003

The Saginaw Spirit hired Moe Mantha, a former Winnepeg Jet and coach of the USA Under-18 Team, as interim coach for the remainder of the 2003-04 season. Moe will bring his expeience of coaching youth and his NHL experience to the table in his goal of getting the Spirit on the right track.

Saginaw Spirit forward Nick Lees is the Spirit player of the week for the week ending 11/2/03. Lees scored a pair of goals and contributed an assist in weekend games against Sault Ste. Marie and Sarnia.
